APC USA Chapter Launches AMBO Diaspora Support Group to Rally Moral and Financial Backing for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji’s 2026 Osun Governorship Campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) United States of America Chapter proudly announces the official launch of the AMBO Diaspora Support Group, a dedicated initiative to provide robust moral, logistical, and financial support for our party’s flagbearer, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in his quest to lead Osun State to greater heights in the August 8, 2026 governorship election.

Following the resounding affirmation of Asiwaju Oyebamiji as the APC gubernatorial candidate by 1,660 delegates during the party’s peaceful and unified primary election on December 13, 2025, in Osogbo, the APC USA Chapter reaffirms its commitment to the progressive agenda. AMBO’s emergence as a consensus candidate exemplifies the maturity, unity, and democratic ethos of our great party, underpinned by the exemplary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC National Chairman, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, and the Honourable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.

As the Diaspora arm of the APC family, we recognize the critical role of Nigerians abroad in shaping the future of our homeland. The AMBO Diaspora Support Group will serve as a powerful platform to mobilize resources, amplify awareness, and deliver tangible contributions toward a decisive victory in 2026.

Under AMBO’s visionary leadership, rooted in proven integrity, administrative excellence, and a track record of service as former Commissioner for Finance and Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Osun State is poised for transformative governance, economic revitalization, and inclusive development.

AMBO Diaspora Support Group Plan and Strategy for 2026

To achieve a landslide victory, the AMBO Diaspora Support Group has rolled out a comprehensive, multi-phased strategy:

1.  Membership Mobilization and Structure

•  Establish state-by-state chapters across the United States (starting with high-density Nigerian communities in Texas, New York, California, Georgia, Maryland, and Illinois).

•  Recruit thousands of members through virtual town halls, WhatsApp groups, social media campaigns, and partnerships with Nigerian associations.

•  Appoint coordinators for moral support (advocacy) and financial support (fundraising).

2.  Fundraising Initiatives

•  Launch targeted crowdfunding campaigns via secure platforms, aiming for substantial contributions to campaign logistics, media, and grassroots efforts in Osun.

•  Organize high-profile fundraising events, dinners, and galas in major U.S. cities.

•  Introduce tiered donation levels with recognition (e.g., Platinum, Gold, Silver supporters) to encourage sustained giving.

3.  Awareness and Advocacy

•  Run digital campaigns on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube highlighting AMBO’s achievements and vision for Osun.

•  Produce and distribute videos, infographics, and testimonials from Diaspora members endorsing AMBO.

•  Engage international media and influencers to project Osun’s progressive potential under APC leadership.

4.  Voter Mobilization and Ground Support

•  Facilitate voter registration drives for Osun indigenes in the Diaspora, encouraging family networks back home to register and vote.

•  Coordinate election observation and monitoring teams to ensure transparency.

•  Partner with home-based structures for door-to-door campaigns, town halls, and rallies funded by Diaspora contributions.

5.  Monitoring and Accountability

•  Establish a transparent reporting system for all funds raised and expended.

•  Hold quarterly virtual updates with AMBO and campaign leaders to build trust and momentum.
